Job Description

Assured Information Security (AIS) is seeking a Deployment Engineer to join our SecureView team. This role involves daily installation, configuration, and management of ESXi/VMware servers, RHEL and Windows servers, as well as Linux and Windows workstations. The position also provides support for SecureView at both local and remote customer sites. •This is an onsite position in Rome, NY and requires a TS/SCI•
What You'll Do:
Linux and Windows workstation installation, management and troubleshooting. ESXi server install, configure and troubleshoot. Create and support Windows and RHEL VMs. Acts as the SME for assessments and provides Tier 3-4 support for the SecureView implementation Develop and execute test plans for hardware/software upgrades. Develop technical documentation and diagrams. Supports customer calls
Education/Experience/Skillset Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field of study and 5 years of experience in performing IT deployments or service delivery in an end user/customer environment OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 4 years of hands-on experience with Linux/RHEL. 4 years of experience administering Windows Server environments. 4 years of experience in help desk or other customer support roles. Solid understanding of hypervisors such as Xen, VMware, and Citrix. Demonstrated experience in technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher (i.e., CompTIA Security+ CE) preferred. Familiarity with system installation considerations within the USAF cyber community or DoD environments, supporting both local and remote users and site managers, is preferred.

Veteran US Salary Range:
$94,000 - $147,000 The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on several factors including location, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package which includes employer paid health insurance and a 7% contribution to your 401k, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation.
