Radiance is searching for an experienced Systems Administrator to provide support to critical computer systems and network infrastructure at the Beavercreek, Ohio facility. The qualified candidate will provide design, maintenance, sustainment, and enhancement support for the architecture in a classified environment; ensure compliance with applicable information assurance requirements; ensure 24/7 continuity of operations; and create and update relevant system documents. Work hours are normal business hours, however, occasional support during non-business hours may be required. This person will be a major part of a specialized corporate IT and security team primarily focused on building and maintaining program systems that support a growing Air Force mission. Job Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain servers, desktops, and network devices in WAN/LAN environments and in accordance with applicable cybersecurity policies. Responsible for Patch Management for a fleet of classified information systems, including Windows and Linux operating systems. Perform hardware/software implementation and integration, and general infrastructure support. Prepare documentation related to system configurations and baselines. Responsible for providing backup and recovery services; managing file systems and disk space. Provide daily, on-site, support for the operations/maintenance. Performs troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network problems. Responsible for user account and access control management in a domain or stand-alone environment. Required Experience Administering SAP and SCI information systems and interfacing them with DoW or Air Force enterprise networks. Minimum seven (7) years of experience as a System Administrator performing the patching, installation, configuration, maintenance, and flaw remediation of servers, workstations, and other computer components in accordance with all applicable STIGs on a classified network. Basic knowledge of Risk Management Framework requirements and how they impact the configuration requirements for Windows and Linux systems. Implementing system and application patch infrastructure in offline air-gapped environments, using tools such as WSUS, SCCM, and Red Hat Satellite. Working knowledge of network concepts and Type 1 encryption devices, such as TACLANE. Experience configuring and securing network equipment (switches and firewalls). Demonstrated experience deploying and managing multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding air-gapped classified environment. Working knowledge of WAN/LAN, to include Cisco-based routers, switches, and firewalls Required Qualifications Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interface with numerous cognizant security agencies, customers, and senior management. Ability to manage multiple networks in a dynamic, demanding environment. Minimum of a valid Top Secret clearance with in-scope background investigation date. DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification. (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP) Prior experience as a System Administrator at an organization of similar size and complexity. Understanding networking concepts and cybersecurity related tools to include, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP), and vulnerability scanners. Ability to work in an agile environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivery. Desired Qualifications Basic knowledge of Risk Management Framework such as DAAPM/DAAG and JSIG compliance security controls requirements and how they impact the IT configuration requirements for Windows and Linux systems. Strong risk management skills, excellent communication, teamwork, and conflict management skills. Managing developer tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, and self-hosted project management applications. Implementing multifactor (MFA) authentication via RSA Authentication Manager and RSA tokens. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to read documentation and find solutions to technical issues independently. Demonstrated experience with integrating Linux workstations and servers with Windows Active Directory. Experience with configuring and executing SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk, ELK), vulnerability management tools (Tenable Nessus), Network Storage devices (e.g. NetApp, Synology, etc.), monitoring tools (e.g. Wireshark, Snort, PRTG, etc.), and compliance tools (e.g.
SCAP, SCC
Tool, OpenSCAP, etc.). Experience with providing backup and recovery services; managing file systems and disk space via Samba, NFS, and Veeam.
