Systems Administrator / Information Services / Full Time / Days The Systems Administrator ensures secure, reliable, and efficient technology operations by managing systems, supporting end users, and maintaining compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. This position exists to keep critical infrastructure functioning smoothly so staff can perform their work effectively and without interruption. The Systems Administrator position is an onsite position. Essential Functions Maintain organizational hardware, software, user accounts, and physical access systems by installing, configuring, upgrading, repairing, and inventorying equipment while ensuring reliable performance across all supported platforms. Manage help desk operations, resolve work orders, provide technical assistance, issue system bulletins, and deliver training—including new‑user computer orientation. Document technical procedures, help desk workflows, and user‑focused instructions to ensure accurate, accessible, and up‑to‑date resources for both IT staff and end users. Administer security, compliance, and confidentiality standards by managing access rights, validating system data, and adhering to HIPAA and hospital information‑security policies. Participate in departmental operations by assisting with vendor evaluations, fulfilling on‑call responsibilities, maintaining hospital‑wide resources, and supporting cost‑effective, high‑quality IT services. Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety. Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
