As the ISO & Quality Management Systems Specialist, you will lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of our Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with
ISO 9001
2026 and ensure that all processes and data handling meet CMMC cybersecurity requirements. This role is central to maintaining product and process conformity, supporting audits, driving corrective actions, and strengthening our culture of quality across the organization. North American Coating Laboratories (NACL) is an industry leading optical coating provider servicing customers across the United States as well as around the globe. At NACL, we provide hi-technology coatings for endless industries including: Lasers and Photonics Aviation and Aerospace Medical Consumer Electronics LIDAR Virtual/Augmented and Mixed Reality Military Entertainment/Film Duties , including but not limited to : Maintains corporate-wide compliance with ISO, ITAR, CMMC and other applicable certifications. Plans, schedules, and conducts internal audits across all departments. Handles production quality issues including RMAs, customer correspondence, and related quality issues. Serves as the primary contact for third‑party ISO auditors and customer audits. Tracks audit findings, assigns corrective actions, and verifies effectiveness. Responsible for coordinating with the registrar regarding certification and ongoing surveillance audits. Promotes a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement. Requirements 3-7 years of experience in quality management or quality engineering preferred. Strong knowledge of
ISO 9001
2015 / ISO 9001:2026 requirements and QMS platforms. Knowledge of CMMC cybersecurity requirements beneficial. Experience with internal auditing and root cause analysis. Excellent communication, follow-up, and problem‑solving skills. Relevant certifications in quality management or related fields are highly desirable. Ready to Raise the Bar With Us?
