Our client, a Banking company, is looking for a Systems Administrator for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
We're hiring a senior infrastructure engineer to own bare metal hardware and automation in a large regulated financial services environment. The role covers Cisco UCS (M7/M8, Intersight-managed), Dell, and HP server platforms: provisioning, performance tuning, and patching requirements, across both standalone and clustered Windows and Red Hat systems. Bare metal automation for provisioning and day-2 operations is currently being developed and will roll out initially on the UCS platform, with Dell and HP coverage to follow. This role will take ownership of that automation going forward, so strong Ansible skills are required.

Serve as L3 escalation point for UCS platform issues affecting Windows and RHEL systems, standalone and clustered
Define patching requirements for fabric interconnects and UCS servers; coordinate with the team that executes patching
Troubleshoot issues across automated and manual provisioning workflows
