Job Description Job Summary:
Systems Administrator
  • King of Prussia, PA (Onsite, TS/SCI Poly Required) [About the Role] Join a leading defense and space organization in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, as a Systems Administrator supporting national security objectives.
You will manage and maintain mission-critical systems in a highly secure environment. This onsite role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in Windows or Linux systems and a passion for safeguarding critical infrastructure. [Responsibilities]
  • Administer and maintain Windows or Linux systems to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
  • Oversee system patching, backups, and performance monitoring using SCCM, DPM, and SCOM
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain required security clearance standards
  • Collaborate with IT and security teams to support classified projects and operational goals
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures for audit and compliance
  • Support configuration and management of virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V [Required Skills and Experience]
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance with CI or Full Scope Polygraph (completed within the last 5-6 years)
  • Security+ or IAT Level II equivalent certification
  • Hands-on experience with Windows or Linux systems administration
  • Proficiency in SCCM, DPM, and SCOM for patching, backups, and monitoring tasks [Preferred Skills]
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes containerization
  • Familiarity with Ansible automation
  • Scripting abilities in PowerShell or BASH
  • Hyper-V configuration experience
  • Exposure to NetApp storage solutions [Benefits]
