Overview
AMERICAN SYSTEMS
is looking for a qualified Windows Systems Administrator ready to join a Team working for a DoD Agency based in Mechanicsburg, PA. Support includes full responsibility for managing, administering, sustaining, and securing all infrastructure required for development, testing, and production; certifying success of future production enhancements. Included in managing the infrastructure, is the timely notification to customers and end-users of Planned Maintenance and Outage Events Responsibilities Production and Development direct support to the Cloud and On-premise Windows infrastructures Reviews, evaluates, and fine-tunes system performance to achieve peak efficiency and reliability for Mission Systems/Applications. Monitors the environment to ensure adequate resources (hardware, software, and through-put) are available to meet customer requirements. Coordinates problem resolution with customers, teammates, and vendors. Evaluates new and existing system software/hardware and recommends changes to improve efficiency and functionality. Provides management with status of projects, problem resolution, and/or other system administration statuses that require upward and outward communication. Implement, monitor, and maintain Cybersecurity compliance by completing vulnerability mitigations, working with the Cybersecurity team Qualifications DoD Secret Clearance Comptia Security+ High School diploma A minimum of four years' experience as a Windows Administrator (configuring, managing, and maintaining Cloud and On-Premise Windows systems). is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $115,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
