The Network Administrator III is a senior-level IT infrastructure professional responsible for designing, managing, securing, and supporting company's enterprise network and technology infrastructure. This role works across networking, Windows servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, and disaster recovery while serving as a senior technical resource for complex issues and infrastructure projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, manage, and optimize enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switching, routing, VLANs, wireless, firewalls, and remote connectivity.
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, file/print services, and system security.
- Manage VMware, enterprise storage, backups, replication, and high-availability systems.
- Support Azure and Microsoft 365, including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, MFA, Conditional Access, and hybrid identity.
- Troubleshoot complex network, server, cloud, and application issues and serve as a senior escalation resource.
- Lead infrastructure projects involving cybersecurity, cloud adoption, modernization, telecommunications, and disaster recovery.
- Work with business leaders, vendors, and IT teams to improve system security, reliability, performance, and availability.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Minimum seven (7) years experience in enterprise infrastructure administration across multi‑site environments, including networking, servers, virtualization, cloud, and security. (Elevated from Level II expectations.)
- Minimum five (5) years with VMware, SAN storage, and enterprise-level Microsoft technologies including Office 365 and hybrid/cloud integrations.
- Experience with firewall platforms, security hardening, backup technologies, identity management, and modern cloud-based services.
- Senior-level experience managing enterprise network and infrastructure environments.
- Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN, switching, routing, VLANs, wireless, and firewalls.
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Advanced experience with Azure and Microsoft 365, including identity and security.
- Strong VMware, SAN/storage, backup, replication, and disaster recovery experience.
- Strong PowerShell/scripting and automation skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and project management skills.
