Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Service Engineer to support, troubleshoot, and maintain process automation systems within manufacturing and industrial facilities. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical resource for customers, ensuring optimal performance of automation equipment, minimizing downtime, and delivering exceptional customer support. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, controls, and software issues on automated manufacturing equipment. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control systems. Support process optimization initiatives to improve equipment reliability, productivity, and efficiency. Conduct system upgrades, retrofits, and software modifications as required. Interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and control narratives. Troubleshoot communication networks including Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, and other industrial protocols. Provide emergency field support and technical assistance to customers. Document service activities, root cause analyses, and corrective actions. Train operators, maintenance personnel, and customer staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures. Collaborate with engineering, project management, and customer teams to ensure successful project execution. Maintain compliance with customer safety requirements and company policies. Requirements Required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. 3+ years of experience supporting industrial automation systems within manufacturing environments.
