Job Description
Job Summary A dependable and organized Customer Service / Administrative professional is needed for a temporary assignment supporting a busy transportation department in Pittsburgh, PA. This role provides important coverage while a team member is out on medical leave and helps keep daily operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where communication, attention to detail, and follow-through are valued. You will support scheduling, driver communication, customer service, reporting, and transportation records while working closely with team members who rely on accurate information and timely coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative and operational support to the transportation team.
- Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, assignments, updates, and service needs.
- Maintain route, vehicle, service, reservation, and operational records.
- Coordinate with maintenance regarding vehicle availability and service requirements.
- Prepare daily reports and assist with payroll-related tracking.
- Respond to customer questions and help resolve transportation service issues. Compensation and Benefits

3am to 11am- Monday through Friday Required Qualifications and Skills
- Support daily transportation operations, scheduling updates, and administrative coordination.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, maintenance teams, and internal staff.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, reservations, and service-related documentation.
- Assist with dispatching and route coordination if prior dispatch experience is available.
- 1 to 2 years of related customer service, administrative, transportation, logistics, fleet, or operational support experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change quickly.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to support temporary coverage needs. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet, or administrative experience.
- Prior dispatch experience.
- Experience with driver scheduling, route updates, transportation reservations, or fleet records.
