- The Opportunity
- As an employee benefits service new hire, you will complete a 4-month training program which includes a combination of structured classroom and on-the-job learning with a focus on building an understanding of the employee benefits industry, MetLife's group benefits, operating systems, and client servicing skills.
The CSC has overall accountability for the day-to-day administrative service support of multiple Regional Market clients. The CSC is part of an overall account team tasked with understanding the customers' needs and wants and focused on delivering group benefit products that meet those needs, along with delivering a service experience that exceeds expectations and makes it easy for customers to do business with MetLife.

- Key Responsibilities
- Complete required MetLife training programs, including successful graduation from the Service Academy Program.
- Partner with an experienced mentor to gain hands-on knowledge of MetLife products, services, platforms, and customer relationships.
- Develop expertise in MetLife Group Benefits offerings, systems, and service processes.
- Strengthen core competencies in customer service, communication, project management, relationship management, and consultative problem-solving.
- Support customer accounts by collaborating with internal and external partners, delivering solutions, and enhancing the end-to-end customer experience.
- Contribute to business operations through client audits, strategic planning, reporting and trend analysis, while leveraging approved AI tools to improve efficiency and validate outputs.
- Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of equivalent experience within the insurance space
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously, effectively handles multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible
- General understanding of U.S. economy and employee benefits industry
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software and AI enabled tools
- Self-motivated to learn more about the business and is proactive in personal development
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with products such as Core, Disability and Voluntary products
- Ability to work autonomously; effectively handle multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines appropriately and remain flexible
- Ability to balance client expectations with MetLife capabilities
- Project management skills including problem solving, attention to detail, analytical thinking and decisiveness
Location Expectation:
This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office. The expected salary range for this position is $60,000- $70,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
