12 Months Position Summary Seeking an experienced Client Technologies Technician to support mission-critical systems by managing, maintaining, and optimizing system software in a complex enterprise environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in Linux/UNIX systems, automation, and cross-platform infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for installing, configuring, and maintaining system software on mission-critical systems Monitor system performance, tune systems for optimal efficiency, and manage system capacity Ensure system stability, reliability, and availability Collaborate with cross-functional teams and act as a technical resource across departments Support integration and operations within mixed Linux and Windows environments Contribute to research and development initiatives as needed Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to junior team members Offer expert-level troubleshooting and support for complex technical issues Required Skills 5+ years of experience with Linux/UNIX systems 3+ years of experience in a highly regulated healthcare environment (e.g., HIPAA compliance) 3+ years of experience with scripting and automation 3+ years of experience in mixed Linux and Windows environments within VMware or cloud-based enterprise systems Preferred Skills Experience with Red Hat-based Linux systems Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet) Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Elasticsearch) Exposure to Software-Defined Networking (SDN) Education High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant enterprise Linux experience Preferred Certifications RHCT, RHCE, or similar Linux certifications For more details reach at resumes@navitassols.com.Similar remote jobs
