Job Description
Akkodis is seeking a Linux Admin L3 for a Contract with a client in Milford, OH (Hybrid). The ideal candidate with deep expertise in RedHat, SUSE, and cloud-hosted Linux environments, responsible for providing L3/L4 support, incident resolution, and infrastructure optimization across hyperscaler and on-premises platforms.

Rate Range:
$64/hour to $67/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Linux Admin L3 Job Responsibilities include: Provide L3/L4 support for Linux environments (RedHat and SUSE) across AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, and on-premises data centers, ensuring high availability and operational stability. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production incidents while serving as the escalation point for complex infrastructure and operating system issues. Administer and optimize cloud infrastructure components, including compute, storage, VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, and network services. Manage and support containerized environments and Kubernetes clusters, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability of enterprise applications. Develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible, Shell Scripting, Python, PowerShell, or similar tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort. Collaborate with global teams to enhance cloud services, strengthen security through OS hardening practices, maintain SLA compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. 10+ years of hands-on experience administering Linux operating systems (RedHat and SUSE) in enterprise-scale production environments. Strong expertise in Linux administration across cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, with experience managing compute, storage, networking, and Kubernetes-based environments. Proven experience in infrastructure automation using Ansible and scripting languages such as Shell, Python, PowerShell, or Perl, along with advanced troubleshooting, OS hardening, and L3/L4 production support capabilities.
