Job Description
U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only (No sponsorship available) If you're a hands-on Linux leader who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and mentoring engineers, this is an opportunity to join a global technology company supporting mission-critical communications platforms used by enterprise customers around the world. This is a hybrid leadership role where you'll guide a team of support engineers while remaining involved in technical troubleshooting, customer escalations, and production support. What You'll Do Lead and mentor a team of Linux Support Engineers Serve as the escalation point for complex production issues Troubleshoot Linux, networking, and SIP-related problems Partner with customer engineering teams to resolve technical issues Coordinate software upgrades, patches, and maintenance windows Analyze logs, traces, and Wireshark captures to identify root causes Work closely with development teams to resolve product issues Drive operational improvements in a fast-paced support environment What We're Looking For 5+ years supporting Linux production environments, preferably Red Hat Previous leadership or team lead experience Strong Linux command line troubleshooting skills Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP and DNS Experience with SIP and Wireshark Customer-facing technical support experience Strong communication and problem-solving skills Bonus Skills Linux scripting VMware vSphere Cisco IOS PHP Diameter protocol If you're looking for a technical leadership role where you can make an impact while staying hands-on with Linux and production systems, we'd love to hear from you.
