Senior IT Systems Administrator SHINE Systems -
Charlottesville, VA, United States Tagged:
Technology and Computer-Related SHINE Systems is a HUBZone small business federal contractor, founded in 2007 and headquartered in Luray, VA, focused on three lines of business: 1) Decision Analytics; 2) Technology Integration; and 3) Mission Support. SHINE Systems has an immediate need for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to oversee our technical infrastructure and ensure mission continuity and compliance with various federal government cyber security requirements and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Maintain information technology networks and systems across multiple Microsoft 365 domains which comprise business and GCCH enclaves. Maintain Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams applications. Perform remote and desk side assistance to staff. Maintain cloud-based help desk, inventory, and contract management system. Manage and maintain SCCM system to manage remote access and remote patching. Manage and maintain VOIP systems. Maintain proper security posture to comply with DFARs and CMMC requirements. Perform and log daily security checks of all cloud-based systems. Research and implement technology solutions to address company business needs. Initiate, coordinate, and implement systems, policies, and procedures. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Requirements & Desired:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree in a computer-related field. Eight or more years of IT work experience with three or more being in a Senior or Management role. Compliance Framework experience (eg.
NIST, HIPAA, ISO
). 5+ years proven professional experience with networking and cybersecurity. 5+ years PC hardware and Microsoft 365 support. Experience with
NIST 800-171 / 800-53
/, CMMC, and DFARS required.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders/departments. Strategic planning. Compliance management. Security program management. Industry standard certifications desirable (CCNA, MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CISM, CCISO, CRISC, CISSP). Extensive experience with Microsoft Server technologies including Server 2008/2012/2016, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL & WSUS. VMware experience. Understanding of network security systems and Antivirus/Anti-Malware systems. Strong understanding of backup and disaster recovery systems. Knowledge of TCP/IP networking including switches, routers, and firewalls. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Office 365, MS Office 2016, and Windows 7,10. Advanced troubleshooting skills. Understanding of base networking components including
DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP.
Must be available after business hours to address critical issues and/or deployments if needed.
