About the Company We are a growing technology business delivering secure and reliable solutions for customers operating in mission-critical and regulated environments. Our teams design, build and support technology used across defense, public safety and other demanding industries. You will join a collaborative business focused on innovation, quality and strong customer outcomes. Salary $90-110,000, aligned to experience and qualifications. About the Role As a System Administrator, you will support the IT systems that keep our people connected, secure and productive. You will manage Windows servers and endpoints, Microsoft 365, user accounts, networks, business applications, backups and security tools. You will also resolve technical issues, support IT projects and help maintain cybersecurity and compliance requirements. Key Deliverables Administer and maintain Windows servers, workstations, user accounts and core IT infrastructure Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID and related identity and access management services Provision, modify and deactivate user accounts, permissions, devices and system access Provide responsive technical support to employees and troubleshoot hardware, software, network and application issues Install, configure, maintain and update computers, servers, software and other IT equipment Monitor system performance, availability, backups and security and respond to issues as required Maintain endpoint security, patching, antivirus and other cybersecurity controls Support network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, wireless networks and VPN connectivity Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, system documentation, configuration records and standard operating procedures Support onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring employees receive appropriate equipment and system access Assist with vulnerability remediation, cybersecurity assessments and compliance activities Support implementation and maintenance of security controls required by applicable customer, contractual and regulatory requirements Work with external vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement new solutions Identify opportunities to automate, standardize and improve IT processes Support IT projects, system upgrades, migrations and new technology implementations Promote good cybersecurity practices and provide practical guidance to employees across the business Participate in incident response, disaster recovery and business continuity activities as required About You You e a practical, service-focused IT professional who takes ownership of issues, communicates clearly and enjoys improving systems. You have hands-on experience supporting Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory or Entra ID, networks, endpoints and basic cybersecurity controls. You can troubleshoot hardware, software, network and access issues, while maintaining accurate documentation and following security and change processes. Experience with
CMMC, NIST SP
800-171, DFARS or another regulated cybersecurity environment would be highly regarded. Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, backup and recovery, mobile device management, scripting or automation would also be useful. Relevant IT qualifications or certifications are beneficial but not essential if you can demonstrate strong practical experience. Due to access to export-controlled materials, applicants must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance. $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
