Includes investigating and diagnosing network problems, configuring and installing updates. Provides first line IT help, sets up new users and manages security, passwords and backups. May collect IT usage statistics and monitor IT usage of business employees.
Technical Support Network Administrator (IT) Aerospace Manufacturing | Perris, CA | On-Site We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Technical Support Network Administrator (IT) for our aerospace manufacturing facility in Perris, California. This position combines day-to-day technical support with network and systems administration . We are looking for a proactive, dependable IT professional who can independently troubleshoot problems, take ownership of issues through resolution, and help maintain and improve our overall IT environment. This is a on-site position but there may be times that remote work is required in cases of emergencies and/or special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, software, email, and other employee IT issues. Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, network, server, and connectivity problems. Configure and deploy computers, user accounts, applications, permissions, and IT equipment. Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, VLAN, switches, wireless networks, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, and subnetting . Support and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, backups, and endpoint security . Support SQL Server databases and related reporting. Support company ERP/MRP and Quality Management systems , including JobBOSS and uniPoint. Maintain customer/supplier portals and user access. Assist with cybersecurity, access controls, system updates, patching, backups, and IT security policies. Maintain accurate IT documentation, equipment inventories, system information, and procedures. Coordinate with our MSP, software vendors, and other technology providers when escalation is necessary and follow issues through resolution. Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, new equipment deployments, and technology implementations.
AI & Emerging Technology:
Support and administer company-approved AI tools and applications , including platforms such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot. Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve workflows, reporting, productivity, and business processes. Assist employees with the effective and secure use of approved AI tools. Evaluate new AI and technology solutions for cybersecurity, confidentiality, and data-security risks. Stay current with emerging AI, cybersecurity, and IT technologies relevant to the business.
