• Act as a hands-on technical subject matter expert for complex hybrid infrastructure, with deep focus on UNIX platforms including Linux (mandatory) and at least one of AIX, Solaris, or OpenShift.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and support of enterprise-scale UNIX and virtualized environments, owning end-to-end resolution of complex and high-severity issues.
• Serve as a go-to technical authority for Linux and one additional UNIX platform, providing expert guidance on architecture, configuration, performance tuning, and operational stability.
• Demonstrate deep hands-on expertise with VMware virtualization (mandatory), including host, cluster, and VM-level troubleshooting in production environments.
• Own and execute root cause analysis (RCA), dump/core analysis, and systemic problem investigations; drive permanent fixes rather than tactical recovery.
