Job Description

We are looking for a team player who can multi-task in a busy environment. As a Driver Support team member, your primary role is to direct and assist our drivers in executing their daily job assignments. Previous experience with tractor trailer operations is preferred. This is a 3rd shift position- 10
Hour Shifts Job Responsibilities:
Customer Service and Driver Support:
Respond to incoming calls and provide excellent customer service to our drivers.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policy.
Liaison:
Act as the liaison between drivers and other departments as needed, maintaining effective communication.
Driver Relationships:
Assist in maintaining effective relationships between the drivers and the driver support team.
Fleet Operations:
Handle daily fleet operations, driver questions, maintenance issues, and complaints, providing top-notch driver support.
Additional Assignments:
Perform additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Breakdowns:
Assist drivers during equipment breakdowns, ensuring smooth operations and driver support.
Qualifications:
Customer Service Orientation:
Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and driver support.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient with or able to quickly learn dispatch and recordkeeping systems.
Leadership:
Solid leadership skills to ensure drivers comply with directions and assignments.
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Experience:
Dispatching:
1-2 years of dispatching experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Tractor Trailer Operations:

Job Type:

Up to $19.50 per hour
