Job Description

IT Infrastructure Administrator Location:
Union City, TN (On-Site - 5 Days/Week) Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable IT Infrastructure Administrator to support and maintain a variety of client environments. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who is comfortable working across multiple systems, troubleshooting complex issues, and managing infrastructure in a fast-paced, service-driven environment. This position requires strong technical depth across networking, systems, and cloud technologies, along with the ability to independently diagnose and resolve issues across diverse client environments. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and maintain network and systems infrastructure across multiple client environments Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues involving networking, servers, virtualization, and cloud services Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, switches, and wireless infrastructure Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP Manage and support Microsoft 365 environments (Exchange Online, Azure AD, user and security management) Support virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware), including provisioning and maintenance of virtual machines Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions Monitor system health, performance, and security using RMM and monitoring tools Work with vendors (ISPs, hardware providers, software vendors) to resolve issues and support deployments Document network diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures Assist with project work, including migrations, upgrades, and new client onboarding Required Experience & Skills 7+ years of hands-on experience in network and systems administration Strong technical knowledge of
Networking:
TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewall configuration; Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy; Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration; Virtualization (VMware and/or Hyper-V); Backup and disaster recovery solutions Experience using RMM tools and ticketing systems in a service-based environment Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple layers (network, system, application) Strong documentation habits and organizational skills Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously Knowledge of and ability to implement cybersecurity best practices Work Environment Requirements This is not a remote position Must be able to work on-site in Union City, TN five days per week Ability to lift and install equipment, work in confined spaces, and perform physical installation tasks What Success Looks Like in 90 Days Independently handles the majority of day-to-day support tickets and client issues Demonstrates strong understanding of key client environments and infrastructure Successfully resolves escalated technical issues with minimal oversight Accurately documents systems, configurations, and recurring issues Builds confidence with clients through clear communication and reliable support Contributes to at least one project (upgrade, migration, or deployment) Compensation & Benefits Vacation pay Company-paid holidays Health, vision, and dental insurance Company-paid life insurance Employer-sponsored
