Job Title:
DR Systems PACS Administrator / Specialist Job Summary We are seeking an experienced DR Systems PACS Administrator/Specialist to manage, support, and enhance our radiology imaging environment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise with DR Systems Unity RIS/PACS, including the Catapult Technologist Workstation, and demonstrate strong knowledge of radiology workflows, DICOM, HL7 integrations, and imaging infrastructure. The role is responsible for maintaining system performance, supporting end users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless imaging operations across the enterprise. DR Systems historically included Catapult for technologists, Dominator for radiologists, and Web Ambassador for referring physicians within its integrated

environment. Configure and support Catapult Technologist Workstations used for patient and exam workflow management. Monitor PACS performance, storage utilization, image transmission, and system availability. Manage user accounts, permissions, workflow settings, and access controls. Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance activities. Catapult Workflow Management Support radiology technologists utilizing the Catapult workstation for exam scheduling, image acquisition workflows, modality worklists, and exam completion processes. Troubleshoot Catapult workflow issues impacting image routing, patient demographics, and exam reconciliation. Optimize technologist workflows to improve operational efficiency and image management. Coordinate with radiologists and imaging staff to ensure accurate study processing and distribution. Catapult serves as the technologist-facing workflow component within the DR Systems ecosystem. [dotmed.com] Integration & Imaging Systems Support DICOM connectivity between imaging modalities and PACS. Manage and troubleshoot HL7 interfaces with
RIS, HIS, EMR/EHR
systems. Configure modality worklists and image routing rules. Ensure data integrity across integrated healthcare systems. Incident Management Provide Level 2/Level 3 support for PACS, Catapult, and workflow-related issues. Diagnose and resolve image availability, transmission, and workstation problems. Partner with vendors and clinical teams to resolve critical incidents. Infrastructure & Data Management Monitor archive systems, storage platforms, and backup processes. Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning. Work with network, server, and database teams to maintain high availability. Documentation & Compliance Maintain configuration documentation, SOPs, and support runbooks. Ensure compliance with healthcare security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Participate in audits, validations, and system performance reviews. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related discipline. 3+ years of healthcare IT experience supporting PACS environments. Hands-on experience with DR Systems Unity

Experience supporting Catapult Technologist Workstations.
Strong knowledge of:

provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $65-$80. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
