Job Description

Redis DBA Introduction:

Seeking a Redis DBA to support, maintain, and optimize Redis database environments in a production enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Redis administration, performance tuning, monitoring, troubleshooting, backups, and high-availability configurations.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Redis databases. Monitor Redis performance, availability, and capacity. Perform backup, recovery, replication, and failover activities. Support Redis Cluster, Sentinel, and high-availability environments. Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues. Implement security, access controls, and database best practices. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams. Support production incidents and database maintenance activities.

Requirements:

Redis administration / database management Redis Cluster & Sentinel Replication, backup & recovery Performance tuning & troubleshooting Linux/Unix Monitoring and production support Scripting/automation (Shell/Python preferred) Cloud experience (AWS/Azure preferred)
