Professionalism is key since the Student Administrative Assistant is often the "face" of the IT Department. Summary of Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for the IT department by answering phone calls and assisting walk-in visitors. Provide general information and guidance to students, faculty, and staff regarding IT services and processes. Assist users in clearly describing issues and submitting support requests through the IT ticketing system. Perform routine administrative and office support tasks, including supply ordering, restocking, and mail handling. Monitor computer labs to ensure appropriate use, report issues, and communicate concerns to IT staff.
