You will manage user accounts, devices, software licensing, and network infrastructure; provide responsive helpdesk support; and serve as the go-to administrator for our core software platforms, including Procore. Success in this role looks like reliable systems, fast and friendly support, well-managed licenses and hardware, and employees who can count on their technology working every day. What You Will Do Serve as the first point of contact for technology questions and issues from office, shop, and field employees — troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity problems promptly. Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and permissions; set up equipment and system access for new hires and process offboarding for departing employees. Procure, image, deploy, track, and maintain laptops, desktops, phones, tablets, printers, and jobsite devices — including repairs, replacements, and disposal. Administer software licenses and renewals across the company and maintain accurate license and asset records. Serve as the company's Procore administrator — answer user questions, provide hands-on help, and build and maintain templates and standard configurations for project teams. Maintain office and shop networks, Wi-Fi, and related infrastructure; monitor performance and coordinate jobsite connectivity needs. Work with outside IT vendors, managed service providers, and software support teams to resolve issues and maintain services. Maintain clear documentation of systems, procedures, and common fixes; contribute to end-user how-to guides and training materials. What We Are Looking For Associate's degree or technical certification in Information Technology or a related field (e.g., CompTIA A+/Network+, Microsoft certifications) — or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration role. Working knowledge of Windows administration, Microsoft 365, and common business networking (Wi-Fi, firewalls, printers, VPN). Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues independently and see them through to resolution. Strong customer-service orientation with clear, patient communication for users of all technical skill levels — office staff and tradespeople alike. Well-organized, with the ability to track assets, licenses, and open requests accurately. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and know when to escalate. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting a construction, contracting, or other field-based workforce. Hands-on experience administering Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk products. Familiarity with mobile device management (MDM) and IT asset management tools Key Skills Responsive, service-first support — fast, friendly help people can count on. Independent troubleshooting — able to find answers and see issues through to resolution. Strong organization and accuracy across assets, licenses, and open requests. Clear, patient communication with users of all technical skill levels. Ability to prioritize in a changing, fast-paced construction environment — and know when to escalate. Security-minded habits in everyday IT work. Solid documentation — systems, procedures, and how-to guides others can follow. Work Environment Primarily an office-based role, with occasional visits to the shop and active jobsites. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Occasional lifting and carrying of items (computers, monitors, network equipment). Occasional walking on active construction sites, including uneven terrain and stairs; required PPE on jobsites includes hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and high-visibility apparel. Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, noise, and other typical jobsite hazards. Occasional local travel between the Skyline Electric office, shop, and active project sites to support field technology needs.
