Position Overview Edgesource is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Systems Administrator. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with expertise in cloud computing and help desk operations. The role involves managing the company's systems and networks, ensuring maximum uptime, and providing excellent technical support to our internal and external customers. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, responding promptly to critical issues and maintaining high-quality standards. This role has the potential for rotating shift work. Job Duties Manage and maintain the customer's systems and cloud-based solution, ensuring maximum uptime and performance. Provide technical support to internal and external customers, including troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. Monitor system performance and security, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues before they become critical. Maintain and update documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and policies. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Work closely with the IT team to plan and implement new technologies and solutions. Ensure that all help desk requests are addressed promptly, accurately, and professionally. Maintain and troubleshoot cloud-based systems, including AWS, Azure, OpenStack, and optimize performance and cost-effectiveness. Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery procedures. Conduct training for internal and external customers on system and network administration, cloud computing, and other relevant IT topics. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI security clearance 3+ years of experience in a IT Support functionality role, with a strong focus on cloud-based solutions and help desk operations Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Exposure to a cloud environment Security+ and AWS/Azure certification (Will re-imburse if you don't already have it) Nice to Have Qualifications Security+ and AWS/Azure certification Working at Edgesource As an
