Systems Administrator, Senior 2026-132
Clearance:
Active Secret Nationwide IT Services, NIS, is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to ensure the stable operation of the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) computer software systems and network connections.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links. Analyze and resolve end-user software program and connectivity issues. Provides end-user training. Provides recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision. Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications. Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load-balancing applications, and ensures fault tolerance. Performs vulnerability management. This opportunity is Fully Remote - No On-site Requirement.
Minimum Experience:
Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, six of which are specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, and four of which are concentrated, hands-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software. Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and resolving issues with applications using ColdFusion (2023/2025) and/or .NET 4.8 frameworks across both Linux and Windows server environments Experience developing executive-level presentations, working with, and presenting to senior management Experience using modern integrated development environments (IDEs), specifically Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code, for writing, testing, and debugging source code. Experience utilizing GitHub for version control, repository management, branch management, and collaborative code reviews. Experience writing clean, high-performance, hard-coded software solutions Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills Proven experience working as a systems administrator with expertise in implementing and/or administering Corporate Performance Management Platform.

Salary range:
$130,000 to $160,000 annually The salary range is a general guideline. We consider several factors when determining base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, the candidate's experience, education, and skills, and current market conditions.
