Network Administrator

Description Overview Seeking a Network Administrator to support, maintain, and enhance the organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures reliable connectivity, strong security, and efficient network performance across all systems. Key Responsibilities + Configure and maintain network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points). + Administer LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLANs, and related network services. + Monitor network performance and troubleshoot outages, latency, and connectivity issues. + Manage core protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs). + Maintain network security, firewall rules, and access controls. + Support wireless infrastructure and virtualization hosts. + Assist with network upgrades, expansion, and disaster recovery planning. + Document network configurations, diagrams, and procedures. + Collaborate with system admins, security staff, vendors, and IT support teams. Requirements Required Qualifications + Associate degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience. + 2-5 years of network administration or IT support experience. + Experience with enterprise network hardware and troubleshooting. + Familiarity with Windows Server, firewalls, Cisco/HP equipment, Aruba WAPs, virtualization, Azure AD, and Microsoft 365. + Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing concepts. + Strong problem‑solving and communication skills. Preferred + Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, Server+, MCSA, or MCSE. + Experience with Windows/Linux server administration and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). Work Environment + On‑site role with occasional after‑hours maintenance or on‑call needs. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in network/server environments.
