ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Control System Specialist for our client in new nuclear technology! Design, build, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical control panels and instrumentation systems. Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot LabVIEW-based control and data acquisition systems. Configure and integrate instrumentation, sensors, heaters, control valves, VFDs, motors, and other field devices into control systems. Troubleshoot electrical, I&C, and communication issues. Develop and maintain system documentation.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree or equivalent and 5+ years of hands-on experience building, troubleshooting, commissioning, or maintaining industrial control systems, instrumentation, automated equipment, or laboratory test systems. Experience building and wiring electrical control panels from schematics. Experience programming and troubleshooting LabVIEW applications and data acquisition systems. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with AutoCAD or similar software for developing electrical schematics, panel layouts, and control systems drawings. Experience with PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting. Experience with industrial communication protocols. Experience designing or supporting UL508A control panels. Experience with SCADA systems, industrial automation platforms, or
