About the Opportunity ServCorp is seeking a qualified Delta Controls BAS Technician / Building Automation Systems Specialist for a potential opportunity supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs Portland and Vancouver VA Medical Centers. The position will support the maintenance and service of the Delta Building Management System (BAS) and associated Building Management Software (BMS). This position is contingent upon contract award. Position Summary The Delta Controls BAS Technician / Building Automation Systems Specialist will provide technical support for building automation and building management systems serving VA facilities in the Portland/Vancouver area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Delta Controls building automation systems, including system maintenance, troubleshooting, programming/configuration, diagnostics, service, and technical support. The position requires the ability to work onsite at VA facilities, respond to service and emergency requirements when needed, and provide technical training to VA staff. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform maintenance and service activities for Delta Controls Building Automation Systems (BAS). Troubleshoot BAS/BMS hardware, software, controls, communications, alarms, and system-related issues. Diagnose system problems and identify appropriate corrective actions. Support system programming, configuration, modifications, and optimization as required. Monitor BAS system performance and identify potential issues before they affect facility operations. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Support repairs, system adjustments, equipment configuration, and related technical service requirements. Provide technical assistance to VA facility personnel regarding BAS operation and system functionality. Provide training to VA staff on applicable BAS/BMS functions, system operation, and related procedures. Maintain appropriate service documentation, maintenance records, and technical documentation. Respond to service requests and emergency-response requirements when authorized and requested by the VA. Coordinate with VA Facilities Management personnel regarding system issues, scheduled maintenance, and corrective actions. Support troubleshooting and rebuilding/repair of applicable electrical and electronic equipment components as required. Maintain awareness of system performance, operational conditions, and potential facility impacts. Follow VA facility requirements, safety procedures, security requirements, and applicable policies. Complete required VA training, including applicable records-management training. Maintain required certifications, technical qualifications, software access, and tools necessary to perform assigned duties. Perform other related technical duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Demonstrated hands-on experience supporting Delta Controls building automation systems (BAS/BMS). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, maintain, service, and diagnose building automation/control systems. Experience working with Delta Controls software, programming, configuration, or system interfaces. Ability to work onsite at VA facilities in Portland, Oregon and/or Vancouver, Washington as required. Ability to respond to emergency or urgent service requirements when required and approved by the customer. Ability to provide technical training and instruction to VA staff. Ability to obtain and maintain required facility access and complete applicable Government/customer onboarding requirements. Ability to obtain and maintain any certifications, licenses, software access, or system credentials required to perform assigned duties. Ability to provide or obtain the technical tools and equipment necessary to perform the work, as applicable. Preferred Qualifications Current Delta Controls certification(s). Advanced experience with Delta Controls programming and system configuration. Experience working directly with the specific Delta Controls BMS/BAS environment used by a healthcare or Government facility. Experience supporting VA, Federal Government, hospital, healthcare, commercial, or institutional facilities. Experience troubleshooting complex BAS communications and control-system issues. Experience providing BAS/BMS training to facility personnel. Experience supporting emergency-response or after-hours BAS service. Experience with electrical/electronic equipment associated with building automation systems. Experience working independently at customer facilities. Technical Capability & Certification Candidates should be prepared to identify the specific Delta Controls certifications, training, software platforms, programming experience, and system access they currently possess. Candidates will also be asked to identify whether they personally have access to or can obtain the software, tools, licenses, and technical resources necessary to perform Delta Controls BAS work.
