Manager of Technical Operations Position Overview:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to testing & deploying software/firmware builds. Low to mid level troubleshooting of wired and wireless networks. Responding to trouble tickets for Residential, Business, and DIA customers. This position is a rotating 3-day/4-day position, each shift lasting 12 hours, and will initially require you to work during the daytime to familiarize yourself with the policies, procedures, and systems deployed by SPITwSPOTS; however this position may require a transition to an overnight role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Completes a broad variety of technical tasks for the NOC Operator including: facilitate open communication between individuals within the Technology department, as well as to other departments in the company; preparing, writing, and collating trouble tickets; Review, research and summarize a variety of technical informational data in the course of responding to trouble tickets; Responding to trouble tickets in a timely fashion; Responding promptly to network alerts, incidents, and service outages, troubleshooting and resolving issues efficiently or escalating to next level of support; Leveraging the appropriate resources at your disposal to effect fixes for network equipment;

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to interface with employees and customers in a professional and friendly manner; Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail; Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under pressure; High degree of independent judgment and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information; Effective verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Good analytical skills and problem-solving ability. Ability to identify issues, analyze options, and recommend a course of action to their supervisor. Self-starter, able to work with general supervision. Strong prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple tasks successfully. Professional appearance;
Education, Experience and Certifications:
Previous experience as a Network Operations Center Technician preferred; Knowledge of computer & networking technology specifically in a wireless field preferred.
Requirements:
Constant use of computer including keyboard and mouse Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Must be able to type at least 35 wpm Valid Driver's License Key Work Relationships Must demonstrate professionalism when representing the company to internal and external contacts Demonstrates the ability to interact effectively with peers, supervisors, and other company personnel Must treat all people with courtesy and respect Physical Demands To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods at a desk. Sit for extended periods of time particularly during high-stress situations. The work environment consists of exposure to physical conditions typical of a normal office environment. Most of the job is performed while sitting, although the work may require occasional standing or walking and/or the lifting and carrying of small objects.
