Job Description
Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Test Center Administrator to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama. This is a long-term contract position that requires flexibility, as shifts may vary and include Saturdays and occasional evenings. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a secure and comfortable testing environment while upholding company policies and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet test candidates, verify their identification, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Conduct security checks, including the use of wands, to maintain a secure testing environment.
- Monitor examinees throughout the testing process to ensure adherence to rules and procedures.
- Address and resolve any candidate concerns or incidents promptly and courteously.
- Maintain the integrity of testing materials and the overall security of the test center.
- Provide a fair and supportive testing experience for all candidates.
- Record and report any irregularities or policy violations in a timely manner.
- Utilize and maintain computer systems and software, ensuring proper functionality in the lab and office.
- Assist with the setup, packing, and unpacking of equipment as needed.
- Represent the organization's values and uphold its mission in all interactions. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; college experience is a plus.
- At least one year of in-person customer service experience in environments such as retail, call centers, or restaurants.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to write detailed reports.
- Proficiency in Windows-based programs, including Office and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask and handle small tools for equipment setup or maintenance.
- Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds, move through the test room regularly, and remain stationary for extended periods.
- Visual ability to monitor computer screens and camera systems effectively.
