Type:

full-time Paid Internship - Hardware Technician $600/week

•High probability of transitioning into a full-time role Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace hardware components on laptops, tablets, desktops, and peripherals. Perform laptop and tablet setup, configuration, imaging, deployment, and refreshes. Install and configure operating systems, applications, drivers, and required software. Troubleshoot hardware issues involving screens, batteries, keyboards, docks, ports, power supplies, and other components. Perform device swaps, repairs, upgrades, and equipment replacements. Configure and troubleshoot peripherals such as monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, and mobile accessories. Maintain accurate records of equipment, repairs, replacements, and device assignments. Track hardware inventory and assist with asset management and lifecycle activities. Prepare new and refurbished equipment for employee deployment. Provide hands-on support for users experiencing laptop, tablet, or peripheral issues. Escalate complex hardware, software, network, or security issues when appropriate. Follow established IT procedures for device provisioning, security, data protection, and equipment disposal. Assist with large-scale hardware deployments, refresh projects, and technology rollouts as needed. Required Qualifications 1+ years of experience providing hands-on hardware or desktop support. Experience troubleshooting and supporting laptops and/or tablets. Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common desktop applications. Experience with device imaging, provisioning, configuration, or deployment. Ability to troubleshoot hardware issues methodically and determine whether equipment should be repaired or replaced. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to document technical issues and resolutions accurately. Ability to work independently while managing multiple support requests.
