Santa Clara, California Job Summary Perform onsite installation, deployment, and replacement of desktops, laptops, workstations, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices. Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and standard business applications. Conduct hardware diagnostics and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, monitors, docking stations, and network connectivity. Support IMACD activities (Install, Move, Add, Change, and Dispose). Perform hardware upgrades, component replacements, and warranty-related break-fix activities. Coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware repairs and part replacements. Configure and test network-connected devices, including printers and basic LAN connectivity. Maintain inventory records of hardware assets, spare parts, and consumables. Update incident, service request, and asset details in the ITSM tool (ServiceNow or equivalent). Ensure compliance with customer security policies and IT standards. Provide end-user support and communicate issue status effectively. Meet SLA targets for incident resolution and service requests. Travel to customer sites as required to provide field support services. Required Skills Strong knowledge of desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral hardware. Experience with Windows 10/11 installation and troubleshooting. Understanding of hardware diagnostics and break-fix procedures. Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, LAN connectivity, DHCP, DNS). Experience with IT asset management processes. Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM tools. Ability to work independently in a field support environment. Good customer handling and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Diploma/Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or equivalent are preferred. Experience in enterprise field support or managed services environments.
