Summary Responsible for troubleshooting, monitoring, and proactive incident resolution of the datacenter infrastructure, including server hardware, server virtualization technologies, Microsoft Windows Server operating systems, ancillary domain-level services, storage, network hardware, and application virtualization environments. This position plays a key role in the daily administration including system patching, support, and maintenance of datacenter infrastructure and supports the network backbone that keeps Lee Health's clinical and administrative systems running. Shifts may include after-hours and weekend coverage.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required (2 years of role-specific work experience may substitute for a Bachelor's degree).
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with network infrastructure, including routing and switching, required. Cisco CLI experience required including the ability to access switches/routers, make configuration changes, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and activate and describe ports. Experience supporting IP-based phone systems and Cisco Call Manager, along with familiarity with Cisco CLI, Microsoft suites, and ServiceNow, preferred. Prior experience with network or systems monitoring tools highly preferred. 1 year of experience in a relevant technical role required overall.
Certifications:
Industry certifications preferred, such as Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) or CompTIA Network+.
License:

Solid working knowledge of server hardware and operating systems (Windows/Linux) along with core networking fundamentals. Strong listening skills, with the ability to recognize problems, gather information systematically, and troubleshoot issues both independently and with team support. Ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs. and work comfortably in a physically demanding, datacenter environment.
