GED Full Job Description Field Technician Job Summary:
Vending Field Technician for Ice House America will be responsible for a network of ice vending machines in the Tampa, FL area. The primary task is ensuring that the machines are available and fully operational to meet our customer's needs for ice and water. The expectation is to provide a great customer experience and to ensure that our machines and surrounding areas are well maintained.
Duties:
Installs, maintains, and repairs our ice vending machines. Ensures availability of machines and services by regularly visiting each location; maintaining ice, bag, and all other inventories along with the surrounding areas. Responds to issues or problems with the machines in a timely manner providing corrective actions as needed and restoring the units to full operation as soon as possible. Secures, removes, and deposits cash and coin from select locations in keeping with company policies. Performs any and all required testing of water and/or ice to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities. Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment. Maintains the stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
Skills/Qualifications:
Self-motivated and able to self-manage tasks and priorities Strong technical troubleshooting skills with knowledge of three-phase electricity and HVAC experience a big plus. Clean driving record and active drivers license Being bilingual in English and Spanish a plus Intermediate computer skills Customer focused Able to lift 60 lbs or more and physically able to execute repairs in all areas of the machine
