1-3 Years Position Overview We are seeking a hands-on Imaging Technician to support a large-scale laptop refresh and deployment project. The initial project involves replacing approximately 160 HP laptops with Microsoft Surface devices , with a potential second phase of 200+ additional laptop deployments . The technician will be responsible for imaging, configuring, deploying, migrating, and troubleshooting end-user devices while providing a smooth transition from existing hardware to new systems. Key Responsibilities Image, configure, and deploy Microsoft Surface and Windows laptops . Replace existing HP laptops and support hardware refresh activities. Install and configure Windows 10/11, drivers, applications, and standard software . Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365/Office applications , including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Office. Perform user profile, data, and application migrations as required. Validate device functionality, network connectivity, security settings, and application access before deployment. Provide basic technical support to users during device cutovers. Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, and connectivity issues. Maintain accurate asset inventory and deployment documentation . Follow established imaging, configuration, security, and deployment procedures. Assist with large-volume laptop deployment activities and meet project timelines. Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in desktop support, PC deployment, imaging, or endpoint support. Hands-on experience with Windows laptop imaging and configuration . Experience supporting laptop refresh or hardware migration projects . Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365/Office applications . Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 . Basic experience with Active Directory and user account administration. Strong troubleshooting and hardware/software support skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow documented processes. Good communication and customer-service skills. Candidates should have approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
