Job Description
OMC (Office Machine Consultants) has been serving the Greater Quad Cities for over 40 years. We are committed to providing excellent customer service to our large loyal client base. Job Summary Are you an IT person with strong customer relation skills, and at least entry level networking expertise? We have an opportunity for the right candidate to join the top IT team in the Quad Cities. The Print IT Tech ensures specific products and technology programs are executed in the field effectively while maintaining ongoing product quality and services to all stakeholders. OMC is looking for an IT person to deliver and install MFPs, printers, and computers on site to our customer's locations. If you are ambitious and motivated there is outstanding growth and compensation potential. Qualifications A strong work ethic Entry level networking expertise Passion for customer service Excellent time management, multitasking skills & job prioritization Excellent communication skills Adeptness at utilizing resources & finding solutions Ability to move large pieces of equipment Drivers License and clean driving record Responsibilities Provide field support for new product introductions & installations Provides instruction on new adjustments, repairs, upgrades and troubleshooting procedures Deliver and install MFPs, printers and computers on site to our customer locations Connect devices to networks, set up scanning and add additional software as needed Audit accounts/equipment for performance and ensure proper maintenance - escalates issues in a timely manner that minimizes customer downtime Manage multiple software packages Advanced troubleshooting skills Attention to detail & quality of work Other duties as assigned
