Job Summary Join our team as a Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician supporting critical DoD network operations at Scott AFB, IL. In this role, you'll monitor network systems, troubleshoot technical issues, respond to alarms, and help keep important network services running. Responsibilities Monitor network systems and respond to alerts and alarms. Troubleshoot basic network and connectivity issues. Support routers, switches, and other network equipment. Track and update technical support tickets. Help identify and resolve network outages and service issues. Escalate more complex problems to the appropriate technical teams. Communicate with team members and customers to help resolve issues. Work as part of a 24/7 Network Operations team. Skills Basic understanding of computer networking and TCP/IP. Familiarity with routers, switches, and network equipment. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Experience with IT support, network support, NOC operations, or telecommunications. Ability to learn new tools and technical processes. Good communication and teamwork skills. Qualifications Active DoD Secret security clearance. CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent IAT Level II certification. 2+ years of IT, networking, NOC, telecommunications, or related technical experience. Ability to work a 24/7 rotating schedule. Preferred Experience with Cisco or Juniper equipment. NOC, telecommunications, DoD, or military experience. Experience with network monitoring or ticketing systems.
