Job Description

Join Our Team as an Access Technician I Nex-Tech is seeking a skilled Access Technician I to support installation, maintenance, and repair of network and access equipment. This role ensures reliable service delivery across telecommunications systems. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work and troubleshooting in a field environment.
What You'll Do:
Install, repair, and test transport and access network equipment Maintain fiber transport systems, routers, firewalls, and switching systems Perform service orders including installation and testing of network devices Troubleshoot and resolve network and customer equipment issues Conduct routine maintenance on equipment sites and systems Assist with fiber restoration and testing operations Support communication and coordination with internal teams and customers Maintain accurate documentation and service records
What You Bring:
Knowledge of telecommunications and network operations Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Experience with fiber optics, switching systems, and network equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple work assignments and priorities Effective communication and teamwork skills Commitment to safety and quality standards Valid driver's license
Education & Experience:
Required:
