JOB SUMMARY
The IT Technician is responsible for providing support to Derby City Gaming for operating system requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sets up new hardware such as personal computers, printers, servers, phones, etc. Installs and troubleshoots company approved software and web applications Assists with programming copiers for scanning and emailing documents Provides quality customer service to our users through problem resolution and process demonstration. Educates users to reduce recurring issues by offering solutions to problems in a proactive way. Provides onsite support for the gaming facility, including weekend and night-shift work. Administers server-based systems across all departments. Creates and maintains technical documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Oral and written communication skills. Excellent internal and external guest service. Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of the IT department.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Two to three years of experience as an IT Technician Degree in related field or equivalent combination of work experience and education is preferred Valid Racing License
