We are looking for a NOC Technician to support network monitoring and technical operations for a Long-term Contract position based in Somerset, New Jersey. This role focuses on maintaining reliable connectivity, identifying service issues quickly, and helping keep communication systems performing at a high standard. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in network operations along with a strong understanding of wireless technologies and related hardware components.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor network activity and system performance to detect outages, faults, and service degradation in a timely manner.
• Investigate alerts, troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate appropriate resolution steps to restore normal operations.
• Support day-to-day NOC functions by tracking incidents, documenting findings, and escalating complex problems when needed.
• Assist with the maintenance and validation of wireless communication environments, including technologies related to WAP and WPAN.
• Work with cable assemblies and associated hardware to help ensure dependable infrastructure performance.
• Use diagnostic and system utility tools, including Windows-based support utilities, to analyze equipment and network behavior.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to improve operational response, reduce downtime, and maintain service quality.
• Prepare clear operational records and status updates to support troubleshooting history and ongoing network reliability efforts.
