Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive End User and Network Support Technician to join our IT support team. In this role, you will be the frontline technical expert responsible for delivering exceptional support to end users and maintaining the integrity of our network infrastructure. Your enthusiasm for troubleshooting, combined with your strong communication skills, will ensure seamless technology operations across the organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your technical expertise while making a tangible impact on daily business functions. Duties Provide comprehensive technical support to end users for hardware, software, operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), and mobile devices, ensuring quick resolution of issues. Manage help desk systems and customer support tickets efficiently, prioritizing and documenting all support requests with clarity and professionalism. Troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals, and software problems, including equipment setup, configuration, and repairs. Support network infrastructure by diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues related to LAN (Local Area Network), TCP/IP protocols, DNS, Active Directory management, VPNs, firewalls, GPO (Group Policy Objects), and network troubleshooting. Assist with user account management tasks such as Active Directory account creation, password resets, permissions adjustments, and user onboarding/offboarding processes. Maintain IT infrastructure components including servers (Windows Server), network devices, and computer management systems to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to analyze recurring issues and implement proactive solutions that improve overall system reliability. Skills Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), macOS, and Linux distributions. Proven experience in technical support roles with a focus on help desk systems and customer service excellence. Expertise in computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN setup, TCP/IP protocols, DNS configuration, VPNs, firewalls, and network troubleshooting techniques. Skilled in hardware support including desktop computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other peripherals. Ability to troubleshoot software issues related to operating systems and applications efficiently. Experience managing Active Directory environments for user account administration and security policies. Familiarity with IT infrastructure components like Microsoft Windows Server environments and basic Linux server administration. Excellent analysis skills to identify root causes of technical problems quickly and accurately. Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users while providing exceptional customer support. $40,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
