Job Description
Join our team at Regional West as a Computer Analyst, where youll play a key role in supporting the technology that keeps our hospital running smoothly. This position focuses on providing hands-on technical assistance to staff, troubleshooting hardware issues, and ensuring that our computer systems and devices are reliable and accessible. Youll work closely with healthcare professionals and the IT team to resolve equipment-related problems quickly, minimizing disruptions to patient care and hospital operations. Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Valid Drivers License One year of experience providing end-user support or training on personal computers and hardwarePreferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field CompTIA A+ certification Experience supporting hardware in a healthcare setting, such as desktops, laptops, printers, or medical devicesResponsibilities:
Respond to help desk tickets and provide timely troubleshooting and repair of hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Assist hospital staff with setup, configuration, and basic use of computer hardware and devices. Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on hardware to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the IT team to escalate complex issues and support system-wide technology initiatives. Document support activities and maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and repairs.Skills:
Were looking for someone with strong technical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve hardware problems efficiently. You should be comfortable working with a variety of devices and have a solid understanding of computer components and basic networking. Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must, as youll be assisting staff with varying levels of tech knowledge in a patient-focused environment. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks will help you succeed in this role.
