Job Description

Purpose/Objective of the
Role:
Assist the Systems technician with various hands-on duties.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:

Replacing and repairing wireless hardware, telecommunications equipmentNetwork device registrationDigital signage management and installationPulling wired networking cabling to repair or upgrade campus infrastructureCovering the help deskSupporting the media center with projector installation and configurationAnswering phones, and responding to email/work requestsModerate ladder climbing will be required
Qualifications:
Willingness to learn new (and old) technologyBeing able to communicate effectivelyLifting moderately heavy objectsFamiliarity with hand tools (drills, drywall saw etc.)Being able to work independently and with a partnerWorking knowledge of Windows,Mac and mobile device operating systems (linux experience is a bonus)Knowledge of home networking and wireless troubleshootingKnowledge of gaming consoles/smart devices
