Network Technician (Wireless Deployment)
Location:
- Middletown, OH (Hospital Environment)
Duration:
- 3-4 Week Project with Potential Extension
Schedule:
- Primarily Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM About the Opportunity Our healthcare customer is completing a large-scale enterprise network refresh and is seeking
- two Network Technicians
- to support the deployment of more than
- 500 wireless access points (APs)
- throughout a hospital campus. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a cabling, low-voltage, telecommunications, or field technician background who enjoys hands-on work, can work independently, and pays close attention to detail. What You'll Be Doing
- Install and replace wireless access points throughout the facility
- Safely use ladders and basic hand tools to perform installations
- Document installations using the Mist mobile application
- Label and inventory wireless equipment
- Update wireless access point locations within the network mapping system
- Follow installation procedures and project documentation standards
- Work independently in active hospital environments
- Assist with removal, inventory, and e-waste preparation of equipment after cutover Required Skills
- Experience installing wireless access points, telecommunications equipment, or structured cabling
- Basic understanding of network cabling and connectivity
- Ability to safely work from an 8-foot ladder
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision
- Smartphone or laptop available for project documentation and use of the Mist application Nice to Have
- Previous wireless network deployment experience
- Network troubleshooting or connectivity experience
- Experience working in healthcare, commercial, or enterprise environments Work Environment
- Hospital setting
- Some installations may occur in sterile or restricted areas
- Protective gowns and booties will be provided when required
- Ladders, tools, label makers, and installation materials are provided Why Apply?

- This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, OH.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
