The company serves clients in Lancaster, Harrisburg, York, Lebanon, and surrounding South Eastern PA communities, providing comprehensive computer and telephony support. Emulous is Lancaster County's preferred Intermedia Solutions provider and also delivers VOIP, hosted virtual telephone systems, and SIP trunking solutions. The team offers computer and networking sales and service, wireless networking, firewalls, VPNs, anti-virus and security solutions, fiber optic terminations and testing, remote monitoring, managed services, and disaster recovery. Team members work with knowledgeable, courteous, and professional colleagues dedicated to high-quality service and long-term client relationships. Role Description The Information Technology Support Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Lancaster, PA. This position focuses on providing front-line technical support for client systems, including desktop computers, printers, networking equipment, and telephony devices. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, performing computer and printer repair, assisting with installations and upgrades, and supporting VOIP and other communication systems as needed. The technician will help with network troubleshooting, coordinate with senior technical staff for complex incidents, and maintain clear documentation of work performed. The role also involves interacting directly with business clients, ensuring timely responses, professional communication, and a high level of customer satisfaction. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills for user-facing IT issues. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Desktop Computers and Computer Repair in a business environment. Candidates should possess practical Printer Support skills, including configuration, maintenance, and repair. Candidates should possess familiarity with basic networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and VOIP or telephony support. Relevant qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) is beneficial. Strong customer service, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work on-site at client locations. Ability to lift and move computer and networking equipment as required, and a valid driver's license for travel within the service area.
