Job Description
PC Deployment Technician Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused PC Technician to support device refresh and hardware deployment initiatives across multiple locations. In this role, you will assist with the installation, replacement, configuration, and support of end-user technology equipment to ensure employees have access to secure and reliable tools needed for day-to-day operations. This position will work on a variety of technology projects including workstation deployments, hardware refresh initiatives, office relocations/decommissioning efforts, printer deployments, and other infrastructure-related projects. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities. Key Responsibilities Deploy, configure, and install end-user hardware and peripheral devices. Ensure equipment is properly connected and operational within the organization's environment. Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues and escalate when necessary. Support device refresh and migration activities according to project schedules. Follow established service management and ticketing procedures. Provide excellent customer service and technical support to end users. Collaborate with team members while maintaining the ability to work independently. Travel between assigned locations to complete deployment and support activities. Required Qualifications Experience supporting hardware deployment, installation, and configuration. Basic troubleshooting skills for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and connectivity issues. Familiarity with service desk or IT service management processes. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. Comfortable working in both team-oriented and autonomous environments. Willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area. Preferred Skills Device deployment and hardware refresh experience. End-user support and customer service experience. Hardware imaging, configuration, and setup. Help desk or desktop support experience. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Professional Attributes Strong work ethic and sense of accountability. Adaptable and comfortable interacting with a variety of users. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Coachable and open to feedback.

Entry Level This opportunity is ideal for candidates looking to build experience in desktop support, field services, hardware deployment, and IT operations while contributing to large-scale technology initiatives. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
