Product Owner
Job Description
Our client is a fast-growing healthcare technology company backed by strong investor interest, building software that helps medical practices run more efficiently and spend more time on patients. This role will shape how product ideas move from customer insight to real delivery, working closely with engineering, leadership, and customer-facing teams. It's a chance to take real ownership of a product roadmap at a company still early enough that your fingerprints will be all over what gets built next.

Paid time off, holidays, and paid parental leave. Compensation $125,000-$140,000. What You'll Be Doing Own and continuously groom the product backlog, writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Partner with engineering and design in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retros to keep delivery on track.
Translate customer feedback, data, and stakeholder input into prioritized requirements.
Define and track success metrics for shipped features, and iterate based on results.
Serve as the primary point of contact for your product area, unblocking the team and making prioritization calls.
Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, and status clearly to stakeholders and leadership.
Collaborate with sales, support, and customer success to surface and incorporate real customer needs. What You'll Need to be Considered Product ownership experience specifically in voice, AI, or healthcare products.
Comfortable navigating the balance between what stakeholders want and what engineering can realistically deliver.
Experience with voice AI, conversational AI, or NLP-driven products.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53 or SOC 2 Type II as they relate to product requirements.
Background as an engineer or developer before moving into product.
Willing to work onsite in Birmingham, with remote considered for the right candidate. #INDIT
