Ignite is currently seeking a Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Engagement Operations Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Acquisition Executive Fires (PEO Fires) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office. The PO will be responsible for the Prioritization and validation of the development software for the Engagement team. The position will include reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team. The product owner will work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint. The position will include technical briefings and advisement to leadership on the status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: The PO will be responsible for the Prioritization and validation of the development software for the Engagement team. Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Required Qualifications The candidate must have a basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts including engagement planning/scheduling, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction, and sensor resource management. The candidate must have the ability to provide oversight to an EO SW development team and verify the team's work based on agreed-upon acceptance criteria, including attending code reviews. The candidate must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers. Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above. Desired Qualifications An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS and familiarity with current EO implementations in one or more of the DoD services. Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is a plus.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance or higher
Education Requirements:
Have a minimum of 10 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above

Must be a US citizen
