About the Role Orbweaver is looking for an Associate Product Analyst to join our Product organization. This is an entry-level role built for a recent graduate who wants to move into product management, and we have designed it as a starting point rather than a dead end. The job combines two disciplines. On the business analysis side, you learn how our customers' processes are supposed to work and write that down clearly enough for engineers to build from. On the quality analysis side, you verify that what gets built does what was specified, and you find the cases where it does not. Together they force you to learn the customer, the domain, and the product at the same time, which is the most direct route into product work. You will report directly to the Vice President of Product and work day to day with our Chief Product Engineer and the engineering team. No prior experience in electronics or supply chain is expected — we will teach you the domain. What You'll Do

• Gather requirements from customer conversations, support tickets, and internal stakeholders, and write them down unambiguously.
• Document current-state and target-state workflows, and write user stories and acceptance criteria engineers can build from without guessing at intent.
• Write and execute test cases against acceptance criteria, and keep them current as the product changes.
• Run regression passes ahead of each release and report results clearly enough to support a go or no-go decision.
• Log defects with reproduction steps, expected versus actual behavior, and an honest severity assessment, then verify the fixes.
• Test the cases that matter in a data platform: large part files, malformed inputs, partial integrations, and unexpected formats.
• Learn the domain — manufacturer part numbers, lifecycle status, bills of material, compliance attributes — and how customers use each Orbweaver product.
• Assemble the data behind product decisions: usage patterns, defect trends, and recurring support themes.
• Take increasing ownership of a feature area, from requirement through release verification. What We're Looking For
• Recent graduate or early-career candidate, roughly 0-2 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, supply chain, engineering, or a related field is helpful; evidence of careful thinking matters more than the specific major.
• Strong written communication. A large share of this job is writing things down so that someone else can act on them without a follow-up conversation.
• Precision and follow-through — you notice the one row in ten thousand that is wrong, and you finish the check rather than assuming the rest is fine.
• An analytical instinct: you break a problem into parts before proposing a solution.
• Comfort with spreadsheets — sorting, filtering, lookups, and pivot tables.
• Willingness to ask a question early instead of guessing, and to say when something does not make sense.
• Curiosity about how businesses operate, and a clear interest in moving into product management.

Mentoring and Ramp-Up Because this is an entry-level role, we invest more in structured support than we do for experienced hires: an assigned employee partner accountable for your ramp-up, a defined first-90-days plan, regular one-on-one time with the Vice President of Product, working sessions with the Chief Product Engineer on requirements and test design, and line-by-line review of your early work until the reviews stop finding much. Ongoing mentoring and training options are available to develop both technical and business skills. The path from here is toward owning a product area as a Product Owner or Product Manager, and we will tell you plainly what you need to demonstrate to get there. Nice to Have

• Internship, co-op, or project experience in software, QA, supply chain, manufacturing, or operations.
• Exposure to SQL or another way of querying data.
• Coursework or self-study in software testing, business analysis, or systems analysis.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Postman, or a test management system.
• Experience reading API documentation or working with structured data formats such as CSV, XML, or JSON.

$55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
